Our client, one of the largest and longest-established multi-media publishers in Southern Africa has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, dynamic, vibrant, ambitious and target-driven Telesales Consultant to join their successful team.

Candidates that meet the minimum requirement stipulated below are invited to apply:

• Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent
• Experience in telesales and marketing

Preference will be given to relevant candidates that demonstrate the following key Attributes, Competencies and Experience:

Attributes:

• Target-driven
• Work well under pressure and able to manage time and workload
• Able to work independently with little supervision
• Demonstrate drive and positive approach to work and a determination and motivation to achieve targets
• Highly professional and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Eloquent and exemplary telephone manner

Competencies:

• Able to generate new business
• Ability to negotiate and close deals to make or exceed sales targets
• Strong administration and organizational skills
• Account management skills

Experience:

• • Experience in the media and advertising industry would be an advantage
• Experience with cold calling and successful selling

The successful incumbent will represent the business in a highly professional manner by managing inbound and outbound calls, identifying new business opportunities and market new products to clients accordingly. Will also be responsible for calling directly on and dealing with new clients to maintain and exceed sales targets.
